Mrs. Cheryl Packwood joined BIBA on October 9th, 2006. "With more than 20 years of both international
and local experience, Mrs. Packwood brings a wide-range of talents and an outstanding reputation to this
position," said Mr. Lloyd Wiggan, Chairman of BIBA. "We are most fortunate to have attracted someone of
her caliber to assume the responsibilities of CEO and oversee the future growth of the Bermuda International
Business Association. She brings to the position a wealth of knowledge of the financial services, legal
and telecommunications sectors acquired both locally and internationally and the Board is confident that
she will be successful in building on our existing strengths and guiding the organization as it moves
forward in these challenging and competitive times."
In Bermuda, Mrs. Packwood has held senior positions as General Manager at Digicel Bermuda and also, the
Bermuda Monetary Authority where she was General Manager, Corporate Services and Secretary to the Board of
Directors as well as Director, Legal Service, Enforcement and International Affairs. Internationally, she
was Managing Director of CORA for Western Wireless International Corporation and Counsel and Director of
International Development for N'Goan, Asman & Associes, both in Abidjan, Cote d'Ivoire. Prior to moving
to the Cote d'Ivoire, Mrs. Packwood also practiced law at Shearman & Sterling in New York City and also
taught at the Martin Luther King, Jr. High School, also in New York.
Mrs. Packwood received her Bachelor of Arts degree, cum laude from Yale University and subsequently,
a Juris Doctor Degree from Harvard Law School in 1987. She's fluent in both English and French and
also speaks 'fair' Spanish. In addition, she's internationally published, including co-author of the
United States Chapter of Handbook on Lawyers' Confidentiality and has been a key-note speaker at a wide
range of events.

Susan Stirling has almost twenty years of experience
in the marketing and communications field. She brings
to BIBA a wealth of knowledge of the financial services
sector in general and Bermuda's financial services sector
in particular. Mrs. Stirling has held senior positions
at the Bank of Bermuda and more recently, the Bermuda
Monetary Authority where she was Assistant Director,
Policy, Research & Communications. Internationally,
she's held positions as the Vice-President/Director Marketing/Sales/Communication
level for CIBCWoodGundy, ScotiaMcLeod and Prudential
Securities.
In addition, she is a widely published author and journalist
with a published book on retirement planning, a wide
variety of feature articles, both locally and internationally,
as well as having financial columns published in both
Canada and the U.K. She also authored a paid-subscription
newsletter on fixed income investments.
Susan holds both a Bachelor of Science degree and an
